Metallic construction unit tempering and joining involves heating of an edge zone of a construction unit in such way that the core zone does not heat up. The construction unit strongly heated and expanded thermally and joined with another construction unit. The former construction unit is cooled, connected and associated firmly to the later construction unit. A cam shaft is connected on a cam and joined to the former and later construction units.
