The headlight has an adjusting device (5) with a translatorily movable adjustment element, which is coupled with a light unit by an articulated connection. The adjustment element is coupled to a support frame (1) by a connecting rod (10) at a mounting point, and the connecting rod is coupled with the adjustment element e.g. correcting bolt (6), at opposite ends by a ball joint. The rod is coupled with the support frame, which is guidably supported at another mounting point parallel to an effective direction of the adjustment element. The light unit is formed as an LED light unit.
