The method involves shifting the disturbing vibration frequency of the belts (3) up and down so that a resonance of the disturbing vibrations with the natural frequencies of the rotation printing machine is shifted into lower revolution rate regions with lower disturbing vibration amplitudes. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the inventive method.
