The procedure for reconstruction of fermentation reactor (2) with a fermentation substrate (4) containing fermentation area (6) that is limited by lateral walls and base (10) and is carried by gas pressure within the fermentation reactor, comprises opening a supporting air roof (12) to an access for fermentation area, vertically inserting a mounting auxiliary tube into the reactor through the access, removing the substrate from the interior of the auxiliary tube, introducing carrier into the auxiliary tube, removing the auxiliary tube and then mounting a new roof on the fermentation reactor. The procedure for reconstruction of a fermentation reactor (2) with a fermentation substrate (4) containing fermentation area (6) that is limited by lateral walls and a base (10) and is carried by gas pressure within the fermentation reactor, comprises areawisely opening a supporting air roof (12) to an access for fermentation area, vertically inserting a mounting auxiliary tube into the fermentation reactor through the access and then mounting on the base of the fermentation reactor, removing fermentation substrate from the interior of the auxiliary tube, introducing a carrier into the auxiliary tube and then supporting on the base of the fermentation reactor, removing the auxiliary tube and then mounting a new roof on the fermentation reactor. The new roof is carried by the carrier and is gas tightly connected with lateral walls of the fermentation reactor. The auxiliary tube and the carrier are positioned in the middle of the fermentation reactor. The auxiliary tube has a standing arrangement for the stabilization of its perpendicular position. The standing arrangement is mounted on the base of the fermentation area. The auxiliary tube is fixed with holding elements at the lateral walls of the fermentation reactor and has a rotating seal at its end mounting on the base of the fermentation reactor. A joint is sealed between the auxiliary tube and the base of the fermentation reactor. The rotating seal is mounted on the base of the fermentation reactor during inserting the auxiliary tube into the fermentation reactor. Noxious gases present in the auxiliary tube are sucked off up to a concentration inoffensive for people. The carrier is connected firmly with the base and is formed areawisely as tube with an inlet opening and an outlet opening, between which a stirrer is arranged for the transportation of the fermentation substrate from the inlet opening to the outlet opening. A heating system is inserted areawisely into the tubular carrier. The fermentation reactor is connected with a low pressure-gas storage. The outer side of the new roof is warm insulated. A membrane of the new roof system limits a gas area above the fermentation area, whose extension is limited by stabilization elements, which are arranged outside of the gas area between the lateral wall and the carrier or a holding arrangement connected with the carrier.
