The rotational shearing filter has a housing and multiple spaced-apart, stationary, coaxial, annular, hollow filter disks (18). Multiple shearing elements (22) are retained in a torsion-proof manner on a central, rotatable drive shaft (20) which penetrates the filter disks. A positioning unit (26) has a material-conditioned thermal expansion behavior corresponding to the drive shaft. The positioning unit is mechanically engaged in the housing rings (10) and their axial positions are adapted according to expansion condition of the drive shaft.
