Linear adjuster for traction drive of internal-combustion engine, has pressure unit arranged in traction drive such that resulting traction force acting on pressure unit engages at pointed angle for moving direction
The adjuster has a lever (4) carrying a pressure unit for a traction unit, and axially movable against force of a spring unit. The lever cooperates with a friction unit such that the lever experiences damping depending on a moving direction. The pressure unit is arranged in a traction drive such that the resulting traction force acting on the pressure unit engages at a pointed angle for the moving direction. The pressure unit is designed as a tensioning pulley (2) or a tensioning rail. The friction unit is arranged at guide housing.
