The method involves punching repairing section (4) with relative edges of section (6) around a damaged spot of leather article that has to be repaired. A leather adhesive is applied on the diagonal edges of section or diagonal edges of patches (8). A repair patch (7) is inserted positively into the repairing section and edge-laterally sticks with concisely smooth leather surface. An independent claim is also included for a leather repairing device to utilize in leather repairing method.
