The sunscreen shield device, particularly awning, has a control device (1) for manipulation of an electric drive of sunscreen shield unit. The control device has units, which evaluates raw signal supplied by a wind force sensor (2). The sensor supplies a voltage signal or an amperage signal correlated proportional to the wind force. The manipulation of the electric drive of the sunscreen shield device take place during excess of a storable or limit value given in advance by the control device.
