The device has a film take-off units (11, 11a) movable over a gearbox in a reverse manner. A common drive (1) is provided for the film take-off units and a longitudinal device (30). The longitudinal device includes a heatable seal band (12) circulating around wheels (8, 8a) of the longitudinal device. An elastic shaft (24) is provided between axes (31, 33, 34) of wheels (6, 6a, 7) of the film take-off units and an axis of the wheels (8, 8a) for obtaining synchronization of the film take-off units with the seal band.
