The method involves incorporating dynamized, kinematic data in a robot controller for determining a motion sequence of a robot arm during the detection of kinematic data of a motion sequence of a test person (10) from a definite vehicle type (12i) i.e. middle class, depending on vehicle-specific and/or seat-specific specifications. A testing dummy is assigned different presettable test person specific characteristics and/or a vehicle seat (14i) is assigned different seat-specific characteristics for standardizable wear and/or soiling testing of the seat.
