Test strip production method for execution of e.g. blood analysis, involves structuring laminar expanded and thin layer by application of hydrophobic substance, where separate segments form free regions from substance
The method involves forming separation segments (7) of a test strip by a micro-porous material that is structuredly attached on a carrier (5) e.g. stable substrate layer. A laminar expanded and thin layer is attached on the carrier, and is structured from micro-porous material i.e. cellulose nitrate. The laminar expanded and thin layer is structured in a size smaller than 500 micrometers by application of a hydrophobic substance. The substance is solidified after penetration into the thin layer. The separate segments form free regions from the substance. An independent claim is also included for a test strip including a stable substrate layer and a porous thin section from cellulose nitrate.
