Internal combustion engine's fuel injection valve operating method for motor vehicle, involves controlling actuator at each portion comprising control time such that constant temporal change of actuator voltage is assigned to each portion
The method involves controlling a piezoelectric actuator (12) of a fuel injection valve (10) by a control device (20) at each portion comprising a control time such that a constant temporal change of actuator voltage is assigned to each portion of the control time. The temporal change of the actuator voltage is independent of the temporal change of the voltage in the other portion to approximate arbitrary preselectable temporal characteristics of the actuator voltage at the piezoelectric actuator. The actuator drives a valve needle (13) that is hydraulically coupled with the actuator. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a computer program that it is programmed to execute a method for operating a fuel injection valve of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle (B) a control device for operating a fuel injection valve of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle.
