Use of net like arranged, electrically conductive fibers in the production of a component made from a fiber reinforced composite material, is claimed. The composite material is brought into the component during the manufacturing, to check the resin usage during the production of the component with a resin injection procedure by measuring the electrical resistance of the fibers to each other, and/or to check the number and orientation of the thickness of the individual fiber layers such that the fibers are supplied with current and the corresponding heating up is checked.
