The panel has a carrier plate made of fiber material such as highly compressed fiber board, and an upper-sided solid wood layer constituted of a stamped surface structure. The density of the material is 820 kilograms/meter cube. An intermediate layer made of elastic material is provided between the carrier plate and the wood layer. The thickness of the wood layer is 0.6 mm. A sealant is attached to the wood layer that is printed with a decoration. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a floor/wall/ceiling panel.
