Device for electro-chemical coating or for electro-chemical fine-machining of rotationally symmetric workpieces, comprises electrode connected as bath electrode and as contact electrode, and basin for receiving electrolytic solution
The device for electro-chemical coating or for electro-chemical fine-machining of rotationally symmetric workpieces (13), comprises an electrode connected as bath electrode (5) and as contact electrode (11), and a basin (3) for receiving an electrolytic solution. The electrodes have a surface (15), which is contactable with the workpiece. One of the electrodes comprises recesses (7), which interrupt the surface. The electrode, which comprises the recesses, is electrically conductive at the base of the recesses and is electrically insulative at the surface. The device for electro-chemical coating or for electro-chemical fine-machining of rotationally symmetric workpieces (13), comprises an electrode connected as bath electrode (5) and as contact electrode (11), and a basin (3) for receiving an electrolytic solution. The electrodes have a surface (15), which is contactable with the workpiece. One of the electrodes comprises recesses (7), which interrupt the surface. The electrode, which comprises the recesses, is electrically conductive at the base of the recesses and is electrically insulative at the surface and another electrode is electrically conductive at the surface. The bath electrode and/or the contact electrode are formed in the form of rollers. The recesses have conductive surfaces and are slots, which extend diagonally on the electrode surface and if necessary on the electrode with the electrically conductive surface. The electrode with the recesses comprises a body with an electrically conductive surface, which is provided with an insulating coating or is applied on insulating ribs and on which a punched, insulating plate is applied. The electrode with the electrically conductive surface comprises a body, which is provided with an insulating coating or is applied on insulating ribs and on which a punched, electrically conductive plate is applied. The body is formed in form of a roller and the plate is formed in form of a pipe, where the inner diameter of the pipe corresponds to the outside diameter of the roller. An insulator is positioned between the two electrodes or is formed in tube form and encloses the electrode formed in form of the roller. The insulators are provided with lip seals. One of the electrodes is moveably guided, is divided into two electrical areas, which have separate potentials, and is implemented as abutment. The electrode in form of the roller is pressed with one of the workpieces against the abutment.
