The sprinkler has a joint armature (A) e.g. ball joint, which is positioned between a sprinkler unit (1) and a fire water pipe connection (6) and generates an alarm during position change by trigger contacts. The sprinkler unit is connected to a sprinkler piping system at a specified position in a system area. The fire water pipe connection staying under primary pressure is connected to a housing of the armature over recesses. Amount of fire water discharged from the housing over cross-sections of an inner contour and over housing openings during the position change is determined.
