The drive has a rocker arm (2) guided in a housing (1), where the housing is supported in a cylinder head of an internal-combustion engine via two supporting elements (3a, 3b). The rocker arm and the housing operate a charge cycle valve while executing a pitch movement by contacting with a valve cam shaft of the internal-combustion engine. The housing is connected to the supporting elements via an opposite relatively positionable guide rail (4), in order to balance tolerances of the supporting element positions.
