The system (4) has a power supply wire (22) to supply power to a spiral-wound filament (8) of a lamp, where the filament is made of tungsten. Power supply wires (18, 20) are made molybdenum, and the wire (22) is made of tungsten and provides power to an end section (10) of the filament. Another spiral-wound filament (6) made of molybdenum has a dimmer cap. A forth power supply wire or a third filament is flattened and arranged such that distance between the wires, which supplies power to the respective filaments, increases in a same cross sectional surface of the wire or the filament.
