The independent wheel suspension has an axle journal arranged to rotate around an axis of rotation. The axle journal is supported on a spring bracket (16), which is connected with the vehicle frame over a damper and a pneumatic spring or over a spring damper module. An upper transverse link bearing (7) and a lower transverse link (10) are arranged on offsets (20,21). The offset is provided along the vehicle longitudinal axis or along the vehicle transverse axis.
