The element (2) has a fiber-optic cable (4) e.g. plastic fiber-optic cable, extended into a longitudinal direction (14) for producing lateral radiation. The cable exhibits an imprinted reflection layer (12) along a longitudinal side for the lateral radiation, where a reflection degree of the lateral radiation is changed in the longitudinal direction in a wavelength dependent different manner. The reflection degree increases wavelength for a given wavelength in the longitudinal direction.
