The device (1) has a creating element (10) and a multi-section marking bar (30) hingedly connected with each other by a joint (20). The multi-section marking bar is movable between a resting position and a moving position relative to the creating element by the joint. The multi-section marking bar has two partial bars (40, 60) that are connected by another joint (50) i.e. spring bush joint. The partial bars are movable between an assembling position and a transporting position. A ground anchor (12) has a tool retainer (13) to retain a tool for inserting the marking device into soil.
