Use of a preparation (I) containing a creatine-component and at least a further component of L-carnitine, acetyl-L-carnitine, arginine, glutathione, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, niacin, biotin, betaine, choline, folic acid, ginseng, pantothenic acid, zinc, manganese, selenium, magnesium, coenzyme Q10, glucose, fructose, N-acetylcysteine, citric acid, pyruvic acid, alpha -lipoic acid, caffeine and/or organic or inorganic salts or ester of the above compounds, for improving the male fertility in vertebrates, is claimed. An independent claim is included for a process for preparing (I), comprising producing the creatine-component as a powder or an aqueous solution, homogeneously introducing at least a further fertility-improving component, and optionally adding a further compound.
