The drive (1) has a rotation transducer insert, and a drive unit (2) provided with a motor (3) and a transmission (4) cooperating with a closer shaft to operate a door leaf. The drive unit exhibits a shaft encoder (6), which provides information about position and/or movement of the leaf by an electrical signal. A shaft extended from the transmission implements rotating motion, which corresponds with rotating motion of the shaft. A rotation transducer disc is arranged on the shaft, where the disc has a radially rotating lattice structure to make selection of the motion.
