The arrangement has video nodes (VK1-VK3) with a pan-tilt-zoom camera, a processor unit and a communication component, and a control component. A handover of an object during clearing a viewing area of one node is made by the nodes by self-organization. The nodes are configured such that a pixel or other defined ranges of a video image of the nodes are brought into a reversible contact to a two- or three-dimensional co-ordinate system for the nodes. A video signal of the nodes and/or a relevant portion of the signal are transmitted from the nodes to a receiving terminal e.g. video recorder.
