The cylinder has a piston (3) comprising a piston rod (4) that is axially movably accommodated in a cylinder bore (2) of the cylinder. A cylinder pipe (1) is closed by a cylinder cover arrangement, where the arrangement is detachably fixed by screws (9). The arrangement has a cylindrical insertion part (5a) for forming of an end-stop for the piston, where the insertion part extends into the cylinder bore. The piston is fixed by a coupling flange (8a), where the flange is fixed by the screws at cylinder pipe.
