The connecting arrangement has an exhaust manifold (14). The exhaust manifold has a flange (16) with a joined flange bushing (18), whose outer diameter is smaller than a diameter of a connection opening of an outlet duct such that an insulation gap (20) lies between the flange bushing of the exhaust manifold and an outlet (12) of the outlet duct in an assembled condition of the connecting arrangement. The connecting arrangement is provided between the outlet duct of cylinder head made of aluminum alloy and the exhaust manifold made of a heat-resistant material.
