The unit has two independently controllable, separate mobile individual robots (1, 2) comprising base platforms (3, 4) with modules (5-9) and physically coupled to each other. Each mobile individual robot has interfaces (10, 11) such as plug and play interfaces or hard and/or a software interfaces, which are coupled to a compatible interface of the other robot. The interfaces are provided for mutual data exchange and information transmission. The modules are controllable by control instructions of other coupled base platform and/or the modules.
