The system has a stationary device (19) for suction separation and collection of liquid (14) e.g. water, loaded with solids (13) e.g. air polish solids. The stationary device is connected upstream of an external device (20) for the suction separation and collection of the liquid loaded with the solids. An outlet (1) of the external device is connectable with an inlet (9) of the stationary device. The external device exhibits a suction needle (10) that is insertable into a mouth (11) of a patient. A pipe (3) of the external device connects the needle with a storage tank (4).
