The endless toothed belt (1) comprises a tooth side (3) having teeth (2), a rear side (4) opposite to the tooth side, an elastomer material arranged between the tooth side and rear side, a tensile strand (5) embedded into the elastomer material, fabric layers applied on the tooth side and on the rear side, and a coating impermeable for oil and covering the fabric layers. The coating comprises fluororubber or acrylate-rubber, seamlessly extends to the tooth side and the rear side and over the total length of the toothed belt without interruption and completely and gaplessly encloses the belt. The endless toothed belt (1) comprises a tooth side (3) having teeth (2), a rear side (4) opposite to the tooth side, an elastomer material arranged between the tooth side and rear side, a tensile strand (5) embedded into the elastomer material, fabric layers applied on the tooth side and on the rear side, and a coating impermeable for oil and covering the fabric layers.
