Actuating device comprises an electromagnetic drive unit (9a) for producing actuating forces and a power transfer unit (10a) for transferring the actuating forces to a chassis part. The drive unit has an electronically controlled drive motor (11a) with a rotating axis (18) and a stop element (31a) which is displaced by the motor along a power transfer direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for actuating chassis parts of a vehicle using the above actuating device.
