The device has a cylinder (3) supported in a lock frame (2) in a rotatable manner. A tumbler unit (8) is movable in the cylinder through a key insert, where a locking unit i.e. elastically supported latch and/or a bar, is movable through rotation of the cylinder. A rotating angle limiter is assigned for cylinder movement, where the limiter is conquerable during usage of a key (6), which is provided with a recess that permits the limiter to pass a plane of the key. The limiter interrupts operation of the device during usage of a key (5), and is formed of screws, pins and rivets.
