The method involves guiding a prefabricated profile (11) parallel to an extrusion direction (21) of a die (3) of an extrusion tool (1), where a base (12) of the profile is arranged outside the die. A bar (13) of the profile is projected from the base transverse to the extrusion direction. Aluminum material (4) is extruded through an extrusion opening such that an extruded profile is formed and simultaneously the extruded profile is connected with the bar for producing a component (23). The extrusion opening is defined by the die and the bar. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing a component in aerospace area.
