The method involves providing a structure component e.g. stiffener profile (1), with deformed machined corrugated structure, where the structure component is made of plastic e.g. polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrol or polyphenylene oxide. The structure component is extruded with bars (2a, 2b), which are directly deformed and welded with each other after extrusion of the structure component and supplying heat. The structure component is manufactured in a classifying process. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a structure component made from plastic (2) a device for manufacturing a structure component made from plastic.
