The integral pump has a rotor e.g. spindle, impeller and piston, arranged in a hermitically enclosed housing. The rotor is set in a pump function in a rotating or pulsating manner by electromagnets that are arranged outside the housing and at an outer cylinder. The electromagnets transfer a static support function for the housing with its laminations, so that clearance between the stator and the electromagnets can be kept extremely small. The housing is utilized as storage for the rotor.
