The support system is made of a flat carrier element and has a supporting element. A carrier element is provided, whose upper side has a circulating and upward projecting edge with small edge camber. The supporting element is exchangeable on upper side of the carrier element in a supported area present within the edge and is exchangeable against another supporting element. The supporting element is made of textile materials, fleece, cellulose or paper.
