The device comprises a combination of freewheel in drive chain that includes load control. A traveling speed is approached by regulating a reference value of the traveling speed with an optimal efficiency. The reference value control has a relative variable and alternative hysteresis adjusted by a driver. A driving cycle is resulted by the device. The driving cycle includes an acceleration phase and a landing roll phase, by which a motor is decoupled from the drive chain.
