The device has a suction hopper (8) provided with a rectangular opening (7) and passing into a tube end (10) as a connection for an industrial vacuum cleaner for dust extraction. The hopper is attached to a housing (1) of a hand-operated angle sander. A latch with a slotted hole opening is laterally attached to the hopper. The latch is rigidly fastened with a screw in a threaded bush of a drive head, and a soft-flexible support buffer (9) is attached to a planar lower side of the hopper. A flexible suction pipe (11) is attached at the tube end.
