The arrangement (1) has a toothed wheel (3) i.e. bevel wheel, arranged on a shaft (2). The toothed wheel is in engagement with another toothed wheel (4) i.e. crown wheel. The shaft is mounted in a housing (6) by a bearing arrangement (5), which is provided with a press-fit in a receiving bore (7) of the housing during intended use of the arrangement (1). A ring-shaped circumferential groove (9) is incorporated in the bore and/or in an outer circumference (8) of the press-fit, and is brought in fluidic connection with a pressurized fluid source via a fluid line (10). An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a gear arrangement.
