The supply unit (5) has a storage battery, a fuel cell unit, capacitors and fuel tanks, where the supply unit is integrated into a trailer and is coupled to a trailer coupling of a vehicle. A charging device (4) is provided for charging a storage medium in a charging terminal or charging a power socket with a household alternating current. A signaling unit (7) is arranged at an outer side of the supply unit, where a charging condition can be read in the signaling unit. A passive air cooling of the supply unit is provided by ventilation openings.
