The method involves digitizing electrical parameters outputted by sensors, by an analog-to-digital converter during an activation phase of a radio frequency identification-integrated circuit (RFID-IC). The digitized parameters are transmitted to a receiver device as a bit stream in a contact-free manner. Electronic components e.g. measuring bridge, of a measuring device are controlled by a control and process logic circuit during the activation phase. The power supply of the electronic components is effectuated through the RFID-IC during the activation phase. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring concentration of plant nutrients in an agricultural land and for contactlessly transmitting measured values to a receiver device.
