The clip (11) has clamping elements extending from a connecting element i.e. band (12), in two directions. One of the clamping elements is engaged to or encompasses an edge of a component e.g. compressor housing rear wall, and the other clamping element (13b) is engaged to or encompasses an edge (6) of a component e.g. plastic body (2). Ends of the clip are connected with each other by a stop member (15), and are movable relative to each other to open or close the clip. A longitudinal axis of the band runs perpendicular to one of the directions, where the clip is made of spring steel. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a compressor housing comprising a plastic body (2) a method for producing a compressor housing.
