The material layer (20) comprises a cover material layer (22) applied on an upper side of the material layer, a carrier material (24) applied on a lower side of the material layer, and a sandwich-like structure. The cover material layer and the carrier material are bonded with the material layer by an adhesive mediator provided on the upper side and on the lower side. The activation temperature of the adhesion mediator on the upper side is different from and less than the activation temperature of the adhesion mediator on the lower side. The carrier material consists of thermoplastic. The material layer (20) comprises a cover material layer (22) applied on an upper side of the material layer, a carrier material (24) applied on a lower side of the material layer, and a sandwich-like structure. The cover material layer and the carrier material are bonded with the material layer by an adhesive mediator provided on the upper side and on the lower side. The activation temperature of the adhesion mediator on the upper side is different from and less than the activation temperature of the adhesion mediator on the lower side. The carrier material consists of thermoplastic or duroplastic and rear-injected plastic. The material layer consists of aluminum, plastic, tissue, fabric or non-woven, glass fibers, carbon fibers, aramide fibers or natural fibers, and cellulose or cellulose derivative containing material. The cover material layer consists of wood. The adhesion mediator is formed as a fleece lamination (26, 28) on the upper and lower sides. The fleece lamination contains a resin system. The activation temperature of the adhesion mediator lies with a low activation temperature of 180[deg] C and with a high activation temperature of 20[deg] C that is higher than the activation temperature of the adhesion mediator with the low activation temperature. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a material layer.
