The strip (10) has a substrate (20) i.e. flexible substrate, a plate (30), and an LED (50) emitting electromagnetic waves (40). A casting compound (60) is presented as a contoured casting compound (61), where a process of the electromagnetic shaft is determined by the contoured casting compound. The LED is air-tightly locked by the contoured casting compound compared to the substrate or the plate, where the contoured casting compound includes a set of material components. The contoured casting compound is applied on an upper surface of the substrate. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an LED-light strip.
