The insulation glass panel (1) has two individual glass panels (2, 3) sticking together with each other by a frame-shaped spacer (4). Sealing mass is provided in joints (15, 16) between two flanks (7, 8) of the spacer and the panels (2, 3). The joints are opened to the interior of the panel (1) and contain a mass (12), which has a surface that faces the interior of the panel (1) and in which a drying agent is stored. The mass containing the drying agent is provided as a primary sealing mass. A hot metal adhesive i.e. reactive hot metal adhesive, is provided as the sealing mass.
