The brake (1) has a housing (2) with two side plates (3, 4), which are provided at distance to each other and run parallel to each other. Four deflection bodies e.g. cylindrical casings (9), are entangled by a brake line (5) and arranged between the side plates. The deflection bodies are arranged between the plates of the housing without changing position of the bodies. A clamping body (18) for the brake line is continuously changeable in position between the plates and is fixed in an adjusted position (P). The deflecting body is shifted in a longitudinal plane of the housing.
