The piston engine has two shafts (41,51). A panel (40) is connected with the former shaft in a torque-proof manner, and another panel (50) is connected with the latter shaft in a torque-proof manner. A band-like drive unit (6) entangles the two panels, such that the panels rotate in opposite directions.
