The sensor has a passive reflector (107) for a laser diode (105) magnetically positioned from an outside and contactlessly movable from the outside for scanning a scene in elevation. A distance measurement is updated to a predetermined image section by azimuth- and elevation adjustment via a camera and an image evaluation of the camera. A resonant frequency determined by moment of inertia and suspension of the reflector is utilized for scanning process. An optical transmitter (111) and an optical receiver are contactlessly rotated from the outside for scanning.
