The case (1) has holding devices for accommodating articles at an inner side of a side wall (5) of the case, where the case is book or file-shaped and is made of cardboard or pasteboard. Hinges (2, 3) are formed at two places by material thinning, and are made of metal, textile material or other fiber-supported material, or bendable material. A grip is located at the wall for manually gripping, moving or holding the case, and is designed as a hole (7), which is approximately round, oval or square shaped.
