The device (10) has a piston cylinder arrangement (20) designed as manually operated type air pump and equipped with a valve (26), which is arranged swivelably at a stationary component (12) by a swivelable bearing (30). The piston cylinder arrangement is arranged at a side area of the stationary component. The valve is laterally arranged in a base of a cylinder (22), where the valve comprises a rubber washer with a defined hole. An extension part (32) is arranged between the cylinder of the piston cylinder arrangement and the swivelable bearing.
