The unit has a housing (1) with grip recesses (4), and a display element (2) e.g. LCD element, indicating a menu for selection of control functions. A rotational acceleration sensor (3) i.e. gyro sensor, generates signals for controlling of the selection menu, where the acceleration sensor is arranged within the housing. An outer surface of the housing exhibits an area provided as actuation surfaces (5a, 5b, 6, 7, 8). The selection menu is controlled via touching the actuation surfaces, which are detected by the acceleration sensor.
